Trust me - there are two of us in this house who know a vast amount about school funding and its difficulties. I suspect many more years than you involved with it all, and not dabbling as amateurs on the governing body either.
As for SAVE - yes I think I can say I have a bit more idea about that organisation, how it is run, and its ideals than you have also. I know very well how it is funded. If you wish to start your own conservation organisation, run it and fund it then of course you are free to do so.
I think I also have some knowledge of the various national cash pots for heritage, and how they operate. No there is never enough, but saving cash on Pugin wallpaper wouldn't have made much difference... this is a serious interior of some cohesion and continuing such artistic and design cohesion was in that case important.
