Can I just check - have you lowered the neckline to skim above the nipple or below it??

My Regency party dress, when it arrived, was decidedly frumpy. I've now slashed the neckline to the correct nipple skimming square (how remarkable they wEre able to reveal as much bosom as they liked, and even misted their bodices to make the muslin gowns see through, but the merest hint of ankle was beyond the pale), and I'm hunting down some Eygyptian, Etruscan, or Greek ornamentation which was apparently popular between 1804 and 1807. If anyone has any bright ideas how this may be achieved do let me know. I also hope that one of you can help me tie my head up in a turban on the day.

A bit later than the dates you give and sold already but this might have done!

I've had words with the head cook and the menu is now planned. She is baking a ham and a game pie, with accompanying salads. There'll be negus, and sherry trifle with butterscotch sauce, and possibly Devonshire scallops. ( if the shells can be obtained ) The cheesemonger has visited and the perfume of a fine Lincolnshire poacher, a Lincoln Imp and a Colston Bassett Stilton is wafting around, mingling with the aroma of hung pigeon in a most Georgian manner !

Sounds a little more posh than our grub......... but then again, our numbers are now up to 152 for 3 days!!!
