It actually all looks extremely organised MdB, nice neat boxes and things in tidy piles. If you'd just move that lump of wood, bottom left of your second picture, into a more symmetrical arrangement, I could relax a bit more.

So what's the plan for that big upstairs space then?

Replaster part of ceiling. First fix wires. Render walls. Paint walls/ceiling. Remove cement from end stone wall. Repoint end wall. Lift floor. Level floor. Lay new floor. Install partitions. Plaster partitions. Paint partitions. Second fix wiring. Go down pub, get drunk.

I think that is about it.

(the bit of wood in the second picture is in the "move to wood shed" pile, so will be disappearing shortly)

Not to be outdone, in the last few days the Feltwell household have re-doubled their efforts to create an even bigger mess than last time.

The kids love "walking the plank" to get to the front door, at least someone likes it!

It'll all be done for Christmas.

shes staying at home Joce until i get it all nice for her. its good because i can get on with things but a bit of a pain being up there for days on end by myself. i suppose though the quicker i make it a more comfortable place to be the better , it is a bit of a nightmare at the moment living on a building site. no hot water , no shower , no cooker but i guess its all part of the process.
