Well Mr P, you'll be amazed to hear me agreeing with you here. Sick to death of White Cat who's been making our lives sheer hell for 2 years, and reluctant to have him rehomed locally in case he came back, I phoned Cats Protection League in a town half an hour away and pretended I lived there.

I had bought a fox trap to catch him, which finally worked last week.

By dint of sheer determination and desperation I dragged the 25 kilo thing across the lawns and into the car, and took him to Sleaford to be neutered, deflea'd, dewormed, and de BC'd. The Cats Protection lady has been calling me and calling me, leaving messages to say "he's very friendly, am I sure he isn't someone's pet?" but I find I am suddenly deaf and unable to answer the phone.
