This is a well known problem with PV panels. There are various ways around it with complex electronics but currently their cost isn't justified. Come up with a good solution to this and you could become rather popular.garnett said:If one cell has a shadow in it the current stops!
I would argue with that last statement. You need good insulation as the power output from a heat pump is generally not that great compared to normal boiler style heating. However they are more efficient when the temperature differential is low so you will get more heat out with poor insulation than you will will with great insulation.garnett said:He could not accept that a building needed to be super insulated for a heat pump to work or else it is an electric fan heater!
