I've just read over a 'third party objection' I made yesterday to a public inquiry. It was written under pressure and with a tight deadline, along with a million and one other reports/letters/objections etc etc I have to do.
Although the information it contained - along with quotes of national policy - was, I hope, correct, in re-reading it this morning after some sleep and with a fresh eye and brain I realise that there are things I could have written differently, that I repeat the same phrase, that sentence construction could have been more elegant. Maybe others are writing here under time pressure, or maybe they simply don't always have the ability to write well.
I have a friend who is highly intelligent but who struggles to write anything terribly coherently. It happens. People can't always help it. I struggle with maths. Pointing out any perceived inadequacies in public or indeed private to people may just blight their day you know. They may be very, very upset, I know I would be.
