We've nearly been blown off and slid off in the rain, but we're still clinging on for dear life! 8)

It maybe a trick of the camera angle/ lens, but has there been some distortion of the brickwork on the chimney? I was a bit concerned that there seemed to have been some movement between the two pictures. Great progress though, you have to go through this to get to the finish.

I like that little cat ornament, it lends the room a certain sense of style and draws the eye away from the WW1 trench re-enactment - we estimate completion within the next month.......or two. And don't for one minute think that my Wifeys expectations are high :lol:

Thankfully it is now classed as the 'building site' not the 'house' so nothing is really precious anymore. With a little luck and a following wind there will be more pictures of carnage very soon :shock: :lol:

You may be right Mr P; however, she has certainly stopped wincing when I explain to newcomers how we are currently in "year 8 of a 3-year project".

Well I must congratulate you - you've managed to spin out your project much longer than I ever did, with my first and largest one. That was a 2-year project which took a mere 4 years.

Mind you, I didn't suffer a collapsed outbuilding partway through.
