Hadn't forgotten about this but it's been a case of must update things tomorrow, then it's busy busy busy...excuses excuses....
However this week the temptation got too much - we've moved in and taken a breather. Yay. Still loads and loads to do, but it is liveable and we've had enough of bunk beds :lol:
Apologies it's not all periody - we did our best to keep and re-use what we could.
Mantel was originally a gatepost that had rotted off at the bottom.
The door thresholds started life as a beam that 'supported' a bedroom floor.
Which is a definite improvement on this
This beam hasn't moved from the start, bless it, and the fireplace hearth was originally downstairs.
