The first has a hole for a tommy bar so I guess it's meant to be rotated? Perhaps it's for opening up the diameter of lead pipe?

The description suggests it is a night lamb. Maybe it might grow into a night sheep? A lamp looks plausible to me. The cable looks to be from the right era, but the light fitting doesn't appear to be present. Go on - buy it and find out!

A heaving-line-tape-measure for measuring out flower beds? You'd need an accurate throw to get the weight in the right place though :-|
