Looking at the video at about 2.00 minutes the box is a bit wobbly when having a bonk.

Back to other methods of warming the bed.
What seems a million years ago my family lived in a shoebox so that they could afford to send me to boarding school and there the dorms were always cold.
Even in the worst winter weather the sash windows were wide open.
There was no heating whatever.
If you shut the windows or even closed them slightly you would get a beating.
However I devised a simple and effective method of warming the bed.
I'd get into bed and make a tent out of the sheets and blankets with me in it.
Then I'd ignite my Ronson Windmaster gas lighter with a six inch long flame for about 5-10 seconds inside it.
As soon as the bed got hot the lighter was off and the hot trapped air was pushed into the sheets as the tent collapsed.
It worked very well.
