Wow! Changed a bit since we all saw it!
Wonderful work, Joce.
Wonderful work, Joce.
But be sure that he doesn't wolf-whistle you, or call you "love". That would be outrageous.CatherineB said:get a strong man to lift it out and hang it...
What on earth is that? :shock:Flyfisher said:our dusting regime
Oh simple. You get the angle grinder out at regular intervals and put a fine layer of dust over everything. I'm quite an expert at doing this now.Penners said:What on earth is that? :shock:Flyfisher said:our dusting regime

That's odd, Joss. I infer from your comment that I sometimes make sensible comments. I must try and do something about that.jocelyn plummer said:Penners, what are you on---- your comments throughout tonight have been unusually flip-------- love it really!!

JoceAndChris said:Thanks for all the lovely comments about the chandelier work - Joss, yes, we had champagne under it on Sunday, and thanks to your kind words and encouragement and lovely pictures by post I persevered with the distemper and am quite pleased with the results.

As for all these painful mentionings of dust, if you messy men were married to me it would be a different story. I've never understood building waste and dust and rubbish accumulating, mess in the garden etc. As soon as it's created it must be removed, vaccumed, scoured, mopped, waxed! I put out 10 bags every week for the dustman and have 5 vacuums for different purposes - the chicken shed vacuum, one for the workshop, two for the house and one for the future pond.
