How long for LBC?

I thought it might just give you pause for thought, but clearly not.

8 weeks for lbc?

My application took 27 weeks to get approval. Minimal change but the approval was loaded with conditions (including being on site when work commences so the mortar mix can be checked).

Then another 17 weeks from submission of samples, to the site visit, today.

Maybe I'll get the letter discharging the sample condition sometime this year.

I was pretty impressed with the mix thing though - obviously got the *ement police on standby.

27 weeks does seem a hell of along time, but I can understand that there will be some considerable variability in this. Some authorities will be busier than others, and some projects will be much more complex and important (your own, for example) than others (mine, for example).
