They have wine co-operatives there where you can take along your demijohns and carboys and fill them up at a petrol pump which serves table wine.

Lovingly known in our family as petrol pump wine.

Ditto in France. They call it 'en vrac'. The 5-litre box of wine with a plastic liner and tap is known in French as 'le bag-in-box'. Honestly!

That didn't take long I believe it is the only prewar (Great War) structure of its kind in the world. It was designed to be portable,which must make the listing a little problematic. Presumably the curtilage depends on where it is sited at the time.
Maybe the building below will be harder to locate. The exterior is nothing special, but the interior decoration is imaginative to say the least.

I seem to recall that there's considerably more to the background of that one being listed than meets the eye. Unfortunately the person who could have given chapter and verse on it has (message self-censored to save the moderators the bother of trawling through everybody's posts looking for, and removing, evidence of the previous existence of official non-persons)

Ironically, I went past it (well within about 5 miles anyway) on a motorbike several years ago, whilst travelling round Europe as a skiving student. I then read about it in my guidebook about 3 weeks and 800 miles later - Doh!

I didn't see the programme, so I had no idea where it is. I was going to make some vague suggestion about the Hellfire Club, near High Wycombe.

Could this grisly place have given rise to the Dracula story?
