That's an excellent idea, worms. You could then spend all of your time updating the location column for every book that gets left casually around the house ("sitting room coffee table", "wife's bedside table", "downstairs loo", etc) - so much more fun than boring old reading.worms said:I would definitely add a "location" column! Isn't it a question of what you're used to? If you're comfortable with a spreadsheet, but find a full-scale database a bit daunting, then you can stick to a spreadsheet. And vice versa.rogerh said:I'd use a database rather than a spreadsheet for cataloguing
