I appreciate it comes from recycled bottles, but I do wonder how 'eco' the manufacturing process is.
It will sell though - as with anything given an 'eco' title at the moment.
Re the fact it is supposed to also be recycleable - wonder if, when it comes to it, if anyone will? Or if indeed it will simply be dumped. Eco credentials sound great in the marketing bumph, but the reality is often totally meaningless.
I look at all the placcy stuff we get in packaging. All says it can be recycled. My local authority refuses to recycle anything except placcy bottles.
They won't take glass in the normal rubbish collections, either (the recycling one).
Ho hum.
We need more loft insulation. We currently have two inches of glassfibre, installed by a previous occupant.
No idea what to go for - don't want more of the same, would like real wool, but removing and disposing of the nasty glassfibre isn't too eco either, is it?
