Now I know what to call that stuff! I knew it indicated live beasties but didn't realise it had its own name.Penners said:1. Look for little piles of wood-dust (called "frass") on the floor underneath heavily infested wood.
Anyway, upon finding such frass, what is the best course of action? I don't really want to start spraying synthetic chemicals everywhere (and the frass is reasonably localised anyway), so is there any other recommended remedy, or should I just ignore it and hope the wee beasties die of thirst as the wood gradually dries out ?
