The different channels are transmitted in batches and not all the batches are transmitted from all transmitters and the signal strength they are transmitted at differs as well. Quite sensibly, Film 4 and Film 4+1 are not transmitted in the same batch (if I remember correctly) which gives you a higher chance of getting one or the other.
