We had the 3rd pint bottles of milk in school too. If there were any left over at the end of the day we had a little quiz, and the 'prize' for the winners were the bottles of milk that had been left in the sun all day on the window sill.
What a spoiled civilized lot you all are, bottles....creamy tops.... tubs of glue....
In my case it was a natural progression from my mothers breasts to the only cow we possessed. It served me well. Never needed tubs of anything to dupe my girls classmates ( especially if they looked like a cow !! ).
