Ok guys ,I have been asked to post some piccies so how about an unofficial picture heavy period property porn thread?
Come on , we all know we all have some period property porn, so get it out people , but try not to get too filthy eh?

Here is some of mine , very much a work in progress.

The front hall taken before we bought it.

After the daub I think we need some pretty girly flowers, so here is the front of our house, the flowers belong to our neighbours but I like to sneak them into pictures. One day I might plant some of my own, I would like a wisteria but don't have the time to train one at the moment.

Just google "smiley" and you'll get loads of sites that offer free smileys. Many of them give you the code to paste direct into a forum post.

Just be a bit careful, though. Some of the sites are a bit dodgy and may pop tracking cookies into your computer. Does your security software have a "site safety" advisor, that lets you know whether searched websites are safe to visit? If not, I understand that Macafee's SiteAdvisor is quite good (although I haven't used it myself). It's free.

I wouldn't worry about tracking cookies, most sites have them (including PPUK). The ones to worry about are those that try and trick you into installing programs onto your computer. (You never need to. The answer should always be no.) You also want to have the latest browser and keep it up to date (and preferably something other than IE) as old browsers can allow programs to be installed just by visiting a rogue website.

Its a gorgeous smell isn't it. Ours is as many years as I am over 40 (so 3 years old last wednesday LOL!) and is tiny really, just about 5ft but in a lovely position which will grow around our bedroom window eventually. As I was working in the garden t'other day it was filling the air around me with scent, just wonderful.

Well, I suppose it depends on what's important to you. We treasure seclusion, privacy and peace (my favourite moments are when I sit in the garden and listen to no man-made sounds whatsoever).

But there's no popping up the street to the shops, the theatre or the cinema.
