Yay! I've done a hard day's graft in the rain for the NT and once Mr Juju is home we'll start cooking our 17th century style repast... Weather forecast I think is rain and showers but hopefully we'll get some time in the garden - which reminds me I have work to do out there before 2pm tomorrow!

Yes - have the loveliest of times - I contacted Juju earlier to say that we are also most unfortunately prevented from coming due to our water crisis. Chris and I will be busy today, we are getting parents to come with barrels for the rainwater tank. And the pump has broken so putting in a new one, plus filtration, for the first time!

But I'm so sorry to miss the party, the kind hostess and her lovely house and garden. Lots of pictures please!

Well I hope the weather in Oxfordshire is less biblical than in N Wales... we're hosting a work BBQ this afternoon, and the hail was so large and hard just now I was beaten indoors. :shock: THey had similar weather on Snowdon yesterday, followed by snow... in June!

Oh dear, hope Jo puts the roof up on the car, she's headed off to Ruthin in brilliant sunshine this morning. I'm taking 5 mins preparation time, to work out how to get the compost to the veg patch over a cup of tea and a meringue :wink: , then we have 3 more campers arriving, I have two funding bids to write and finish the kitchen worktop.

We had a lovely time, very interesting house with a fantastic attic space which makes a spectacular bedroom! Lovely thick walls and some original features still around.

The garden is lovely and as for the delicious food, well------- Julie has got a good resident chef.

J and I were also bowled over by the successful regeneration of Witney Town Centre completed about 2 years ago. JuJU is well placed for a quick walk into some retail therapy when needed
