When I were a teenage lad, visiting my grandparents in St Mawes, Cornwall, I used to knock about with the local yoofs. One of them had a Frogeye Sprite - the most diminutive of two-seat sports cars. We regularly used to have six of us in that car - one driving, one in the passenger seat with his girlfriend on his knee and three of us sitting on the bodywork behind the cockpit with our feet tucked down uncomfortably behind the seats.philpjuk100 said:four in a two seat car with no belts or air bags
The local bobby (PC 49 - honestly!*) often used to stop us and tell us off, but this didn't deter us.
* For those of you of a more youthful persuasion than me, PC 49 was a fictional policeman whose adventures used to be broadcast on the radio, and appeared in the Eagle comic in the late 1950s.
