Just incase anyone wishes to follow the instructions in Flyfisher's link it is a joke.

Hotmail I haven't even logged into in recent memory, simply didn't need it except to log into MSN for an old job
My Talk21 a.k.a. Yahoo! has been all I needed for ages, powerful search and unlimited storage.
I tried really hard to use Gmail but I got continuously irritated by the web "conversation" interface that insist on tying messages into threads like a forum. IN the end I more or less gave up on that too.
I haven't downloaded my email in >6 years either, just used the web interfaces I've toyed with getting my own domain but I've never felt any justification for even the minimal cost involved. If Yahoo ever threaten to turn off Talk21 I guess I'll probably do it.

Well, yes and no. I find cars more forgiving than computers, in that their failure is a mere annoyance. Failure of a computer, however, tends to induce complete, blind panic.
