Thanks Roger H for line of sight idea - this gives me hope - we may be able to find someone locally and make this a reality. When we have the big housewarming party the OH now has a networking job to do!!

and thanks Anita - that outasight shower curtain looks really interesting - as the shower is in the middle of our bath i didn't think it would work as curtain arm should only lift to provide an arm that is the same distance along the bath as the curtain riser is high - but looking again it seems to be telescopic too -
net result - it could be the very thing we need !
