I do know what you mean Moo. I was overcome by a cleaning fit on Sunday and moved the (very) heavy range cooker to clean under it - first time in (ahem) 4 years. Or maybe longer - the previous owners left the cooker behind.
But then afterwards I thought what about all those with an Aga, or similar cast iron range? They must never move, especially if plumbed in. Ours is a range cooker but a "modern" one, so not impossible to move.
And as I pushed the cooker back, I thought "There - that looks exactly the same as it did before". Not exactly what you'd call job satisfaction.
