Being serious for a moment, your house looks beautiful - I especially like the attic rooms. Much like (the other?) FW, please don't show those to my better half. She might expect me to not just structurally finish a room, but actually decorate it as well :roll: Women - so unreasnoble :wink:
My books are in my office on cheap pine Ikea shelving units. Definitely hidden away rather than on display!

I wish I had a picture of my bookshelf I could show you. I made it 20 odd years ago and I'm rather proud of it as it is free standing and is fixed together without any nails, screws, glue or pegs. It is currently flat packed and buried in a corner so I can't take a picture. :-(

The bedroom with the stains and plasterless window surrounds - another overflowing gutter ...
The chipped skirtings, showing white through the matt chocolate brown ...
And, of course, the dust.
It really needs someone who cares about old buildings to come and do some thorough and sensitive conservation work (and cleaning).
