Well spotted. It is, I think, the country's largest 'N' guage railway open to the public, in Gainsborough. The tracks represent the journey from Kings Cross to Leeds

Spot on.
It crosses the Mimram valley between Welwyn Garden City and Welwyn North (actually in the village of Digswell) railways stations and carries the East Coast line from Kings Cross, hence the link to the previous photo. It's a two-track bottleneck and there have been many proposals/disputes over the years about building another crossing.

I don't know the answer but I liked this one:
Genesis 11:3 "And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar".
and they certainly knew how to do the newly-wed bit in style:
Deutoronomy 24:5 "When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken".
If this quiz question had come from Penners I would have suspected that the answer was some horrible schoolboy joke...
