turned tv on and saw motorway cops last night, gentleman had 4 kids in the back, not belted properly and after telling him off and giving him instructions on how to rejoin the motorway he just went about 25m and pulled in front of a long line of lorries very nearly causing a major accident, so they did him for dangerous driving at the services!!

Well, yours truly and the Managing Director went to look for bathroom goodies. Frankly, the prices were exsanguinatingly ridiculous. Even with the 15% discount, we'd have been paying a very great deal more than we did with the online supplier whose products we finally ordered.

However, the MD did manage to force herself to buy a load of stuff for the garden, so the voucher certainly didn't get wasted.

Last year Focus DIY were offering 10% discount to anyone over 60 on Wednesdays, but now this applies on any day of the week - which was handy when I got my Father to buy a barbeque for me last month. I guess the recession is still biting.

How are Mrs F and passenger doing?

Mrs F is fine thanks - getting rather large and a little bit tired & fed up, but overall she's doing fine. Christmas could be interesting though - 2 small children (3 & 5 years respectively) getting very excited and wound up, and Mrs F with just 3 weeks to go!

At the moment it will just be nice to get building work finished, that will help - the mess & noise, even though it's mostly outside, isn't helping.

:lol: I went to an Asda supplier conference recently, according to the invite you had to turn up wearing an item of George clothing. :roll: My least favourite retailer by far - you can certainly tell they're owned by Americans with the way they conduct their business.

I think Waitrose are only "darn sarf" anyway - nice shops but far too expensive!

had one of their stake and ale pies yesterday , there was nothing in it but gravy. really. nice pastry and packaging though. its always a bit hit and miss with supermarkets own brands ive found , except sainsburrys onion rings in the crisp section, as far as onion rings go these rock.
