I suggest that you've got that the wrong way round.Nigel Watts said:selling 8 foot Norway Spruces for £47. I just bought one and my seasonal scrooge-like mood began to lift
I used to work in the MWB offices adjoining Liberty. We even had access to the little connecting bridge to go in without going outside. I often went for a wander around at lunchtime. I also enjoyed asking our visiting American management how old they thought it was - apparently Queen Elizabeth I could have got her scarves thereJoceAndChris said:Still, it's worth it just to go to Liberty.
JoceAndChris said:I've spent days sourcing black and gold baubles for my Christmas tree to match the Print Room. I went to the local department store - an impoverished, uninspiring, distinctly agricultural place, decided nothing was good enough - so went to Liberty in London and happily paid £3.50 per bauble. Today, I realised I didn't have enough, so went back to the agricultural department store and saw that the baubles I'd dismissed were the same as the ones in Liberty I'd bought, only they're £2.25 in Grantham.
Still, it's worth it just to go to Liberty.
Everybody likes Fern (the one with the dog lead). I've no idea why as she is a stupid yappy, get under your feet rat dog... Barney is also ours and also has no brains but at least he is a proper dog.Moo said:What a lovely dog! Is it yours?
Been considering that but my ladder is too short to put the fairy on!Penners said:Rather than dragging that Christmas tree into the house, Phil, I recommend that you drag the decorations outside.
Let Mohammed come to the mountain.
