Also...house prices in wales are far, far below uk average, and I think we got the house for a bargain even in the local market. But don't tell anyone - it looks quite posh!

Probably far more complex than what I do! I write thermodynamic/gas dynamic simulation, but only track gas dynamics in 1 dimension, i. e. down a pipe.

You're looking at this glass half-empty, PP. If you HAD been business-orientated, then you'd have diversified into other stocks, assumed greater risk and been wiped out by the 2008 crash.

Don't let this stuff eat you up. Focus on what's still possible and ignore what's done.
