Doesn't the charming term "Snob Value" also apply when you jack up the price of an article to make it unique and special?

I am in awe of everything that MikeG does and have a tab permanently open on his blog and, as usual, he has surpassed the standard offering yet again on this one.
I have a wooden Hygrometer. It was given to me as a Christmas present some years ago. I fixed it to the end of my Log store and, so impressed am I with it that I kept the "instructions". I have put a couple of photos of the hygrometer and said instructions together and offer them below:
As can be seen, Mike's offering is (of course) far superior to the present I was given, but the point I wish to make is that it should therefore definitely carry a premium price.
As a comparison price, I have 2 weather stations. The one on the roof (£100+) that I can't get to at a reasonable price failed after a couple of years and the other (£99) is still in the box, 3 years after my wife bought it me for Christmas :roll: . I find that the Barometer in the house and the stick on the wood store are all that I need.
I reckon £75 would be a good starter.
