Thanks twig. You got my mind whizzing regarding lime finish coats and fingers punching the keyboard leading to Lime Green Products Ltd. https://www.lime-green.co.uk/
They're a manufacturer and have found a localish distributor (Kidderminster) of their Lime products ..... relatively closer to Brum than Cheltenham but thanks for your tips.
So here's plan for IWI following help from this wonderful community
a)Bare brick walls to be plastered with NHL 3.3 and sharp sand mixture to approx 10mm thickness to create the parge coat
b) Stud wall using 3 by 2 timbers construction at centres 570mm to allow for friction fitting of 575mm wood fibre batts of thickness either 40 or 50mm.
c) The above covered with gypsum 12.5 mm plasterboard or 15mm wood wool board (WWB) or Steicotherm WF Rigid board thickness 20mm
d) Finished with Lime Green Solo One Coat Lime Plaster....
Bit confused about the thickness of the lime finish, have copied statement below from Solo One Coat Lime Plaster spec blurb:
So if WWB were used presumably similar skim finish as woodfibre insulation boards above? i.e 2 passes with mesh in between to create 10mm finished thickness?
Using gypsum PB will be easier as only 3mm finish and no mesh required
Everyone, please share your thoughts and critique the above- Either of wood fibre rigid board/WWB or gypsum PB for the finish.
Thanks

Bit confused about the thickness of the lime finish, have copied statement below from Solo One Coat Lime Plaster spec blurb:
- Woodfibre Insulation Boards: simply skim on Solo in 2 passes with mesh in between, around 10 mm thick.
- Plasterboard: standard (non-waterproof) paper faced plasterboards just need scrimming and a coat of about 3 mm
So if WWB were used presumably similar skim finish as woodfibre insulation boards above? i.e 2 passes with mesh in between to create 10mm finished thickness?
Using gypsum PB will be easier as only 3mm finish and no mesh required
