Did you know it's possible to move into a house that doesn't need renovation? I'm a fine one to be suggesting that - not having done it for our last five moves! However, if/when Mrs P and I feel that we're sufficiently aged to need proximity to the shops/doctor/cemetery, we may buy a house that needs nothing more than a spot or two of paint.

That'll be a considerable novelty!
