restoration can become very obsessive which leaves little time for anything else if you want to achieve your goal before you die. This must, in most part, hold true otherwise it can ( in extreme cases) lead to divorce , murder of wife or husband if you are really lucky the children and in very extreme cases the pets.

Flippin' 'eck, Middi! I do think you're getting a bit obsessive! I suggest a few glasses of Pino Grigio, and a bit of a sit down, to get your breath back. :wink:

Oh, tell me about it. If I had a pound for every pound my kids haven't paid me back, I'd have a lot more pounds.

Well Penners the Pino grigio IS partly to blame, after a days work, supper and a couple of glasses of the stuff I just crush out untill the next day to start all over again. every now and then my wife reminds me that we are still married and that the love affair with the cottage has got to come to an end soon. I promised her( and my daughter) this coming spring will be ready. This should give me enough time to think for a valid excuse why it will not.

So what did Mafia historically use? Lime boots? Did they make their poor victim stand in a bucket of lime mortar for 3 months with a dampened Hessian sheet over their head whilst it set? I think we should be told...
