Lime plastering, it takes forever.

Overhauling the garden. Plenty of stuff we didn't like came out, and plenty of stuff we did (apart from the cost!) went in. Lawn got first cut and yew hedge at around 8ft is half what it was. Lime pointing next when we have consistent milder nights. Never ends and very tiring on top of my daily work commute to London but wouldn't have it any other way.

Doing what I normally do when there is not much going on here: picking fights with posters on the Guardian's "comment is free" website.

I was also searching London in vain for some barley flour to make into bread. It can be ordered online but the delivery cost is ridiculous.
