But I suggest that she almost certainly spoke the Foreign Tongue as well (English), so when she found that the universal response to her ramblings was "Eh?", I imagine she resorted to that.
The Cornish language is still spoken by a small band of enthusiasts, who are determined to keep it alive, but it is not, of course, their "natural" (ie: first) language.

The chickens have landed!we bought three rescue chickens last week to live in "hotel paxo" let them out after a couple of days and the left and returned with a friend to share their food,now after a week we have a dozen eggs and have had our flower beds turned over!phil.

Oh, they're brilliant. Well done for getting ex bats, I feel guilty that I didn't but I'm just so obsessed with those fluffy legged, fluffy bottom varieties. I might get some ex bats too, but too exhausted to consider expansion just yet.

Yes they are great characters,we were in the house when we sensed we were being watched,the three of them were watching us through the french window!we collected them from an egg producer,(not the nicest of places) we were told to pick the ones we wanted,there were hundreds,he told us he had somone coming that evening to pick the ones that were left for dog food,it was heartbreaking,we wish we had room for them all,
