Yes, there is a really good book on Welsh houses - but I've forgotton what it's called

Ah yes, The Welsh House. That's the title I was trying to remember.

The 2004 one has a secton, with photos showing the horrid things that have happened to some of Peate's best examples since the first edition. Grisly but gripping.

The good thing about the other book is that it shows some people sensitively reversing the uPVC and cement horrors inflicted on buildings.
