What do I put on my internal oak doors?

Jaqy - that's a novel idea... putting hinges on both sides of the door. I tend to go for the more conventional approach of hinges on one side and latch on the other. :wink:

Oil or wax - you takes your pick. Just try to avoid putting on too much of either, or you can end up with a sticky surface that hangs on to the dirt.

For a thin, quick-drying oil, I like tung oil.

Thanks for that. I'll do some test pieces first and see which I like the best.
