OK, those are interesting pictures.
Can you clarify something for me ?
Looking at the profile of the pocket cut, I can see in picture 12 for example (its a pocket at the edge with a champhered (? sorry dont know the terminology) join at one end and a step at the other), how that might be cut because the profile could be cut from the side.
However in picture 5, which looks like the same thing but with the pocket in a central position, I cannot understand how that cut could physically be made. Unless you have another piece of wood?
