Which is what a leaky old single glazed sash window does - it collects water on the glass which runs down and out through the small gap at the bottom!

Well, yesterday I had the flip side… our project is now no longer heated or lived in. The internal temp has been gradually dropping since our oil tank emptied, now seeming to have reached a happy 11-12degC. The weirdly warm and very moist external weather created condensation on the outer panes of all our windows!

Of course cars do that quite often if unheated and un-lived in while parked overnight. I never know whether to wipe the inside or the outside of the windscreen.

I used to have to scrape ice from the inside of my series 3 Land Rover’s windscreen on winter mornings!
