Still unsure what to do with my Oak floor

:lol: :lol: I must admit, it's bl**dy freezing here....well -6 to be precise. Inside our van is only 9.7 with the heater on :roll: Meanwhile the house is 18 :twisted:

We've had no water again now for 2 days, so are back to carrying bucketfuls over. At least I can use the dishwasher which is plumbed in now, though Tomorrow's job is to get the space heater on and aimed under the van to thaw the pipes without setting fire to everything :lol: You know, in a weird way, I think I'm gonna miss living in here :lol: :lol:

You know DWB, I envy people like you. If there ever was a nuclear war the only people that would make it would be those with your " hardness" and experience.

( all those that need to find the " power switch" without aid would perish :wink: )

Hubby's just had a right laugh at me. After having a strip wash in a bucket of warm water earlier, I'd decided to put some clean jamas on and my dressing gown to sit down all cosified. It was lovely and I really enjoyed it....until I had to get the horses in, drive down the field to fill the hay rack up for the sheep, put another couple of logs on the fire in the house and fetch another bucket of water across. So cold is it, I had jamas, dressing gown, fleece, riding coat, scarf, gloves, 2 pairs of socks and wellies. Hubby just fell about laughing. Good job no one else saw me :lol: ........I hope!!

It is fun doing these sorts of things, though. I wouldn't change anything really

There is no substitution for making anyone happy but just to be contended with oneself.

( if only we would not hold other people responsible fo our problems we would all be happy)
