That Teleseal sounds great. The last lot of silicone barely lasted a year. However, according to their website, it's possible to grow vegetables in the bathroom...

Just to thank Gervase for this tip. I bought some from Screwfix - not cheap at £30, and it was a b***er trying to hold a six foot length against a wobbly bathroom wall for half an hour while the adhesive set. However, it's been up for over a month now with no problems at all, and looks and performs better than all my attempts at using tubes of sealant. Cheers
