Forty a day? I wish! The junk I get in my normal e-mail is increasing daily. Nothing to do with site registration however - I suspect in many cases it's to do with other people's address books not being secure. Sadly, many friends tend also to send 'round robins' to groups of people and addresses get spread that way to people who you have no idea about... I know I have occasionally to go through my address book and delete people I don't know.

The problem with simply deleting all Spam is that on occasions genuine mails fall into the Spam box - so that has to be checked several times a day.

I use another e-mail address to register for things like forums now - not my normal one.

Google, Lycos, Hotmail - many give free addresses.

I can't understand how some people's posts are appearing under their real names however... it isn't happening with mine?
