I'm not convinced by the argument put forward in the link, yet. Is Dave Toke suggesting that all Nuclear output is running at full capacity and that in the event of one plant shutting down other stations will be unable to pick up the slack? Seems unlikely to me that inbuilt systems to cope with the shutdowns/power supply interruption have not been considered and designed for.

Unfortunately a lot of people in Fukushima thought that way too.
