Try it with barbed wire wrapped along the top... You don't hold on for long.
We have lot's of them, they look great when you are used to them, but it's not the gate that costs.... it's when you come to adding the hinges, the bolt, washers, spring. closing etc, they cost more than the gate itself :evil:
Had fun watching a couple with their 2 year old over the weekend. To get to our land, they had to cross a stream - it'd have been pretty boggy either side for about 5 metres - climb through some dense undergrowth, get through a barbed wire fence.
When challenged they said they had got lost so took the easy way..........
We took them up the drive, where instead of opening the gate they climbed over the one with barbed wire on the top :roll:
Nothing as stange as folk :mrgreen:
