Air dried, where do they put the kiln dried once it's come out of the kiln?

Good point, i shall price some up. Anyone know a supplier in Suffolk/Norfolk? AFAIK Shrubland only do green oak.

I'd probably try Cushions in Norwich if they can't help you they may be able to recommend somewhere else.

I bought a few oak boards last year from a place up in north Norwich - near the airport. If I can remember the name I'll let you know. I seem to remember that they were cheaper than Cushions.

I can't remember what type of oak I bought - it was for a piece of furniture for my grandson, so I probably just went for the cheapest. They might be worth a call, though.

You could ask SPAB, they gave me a list of people local to me when I first needed somebody.
