I've used them for alarms and bells but they would cope with one 2.5mm t/e crimped cable.
They are fitted with cable clamps too.
They also sell several junction boxes of different styles.

In the past I have used heavy duty heat shrink sleeving for this sort of work with adhesive lining. The adhesive grips the cable well and a longish amount of sleeve over the cable sheath prevents any ingress of moisture.
I haven't bought any for a while (thanks to a large amount bought at a car boot ) but there appears to be some on sale here:-
