By the way, the petunias all died in the copper when the soil became waterlogged - Moo was right about the drainage holes. As it may end up being reinstalled, though, I'll put my petunias in something else next year!

Well thanks very much for posting that pic of the ruined kitchen, it really helps me to visualise how it would look back in there!

Does anyone else find that a ruined kitchen is so much more inspiring than modern glossy brochures?
