update guys , sorry to take the thread off topic :lol: but the eggs thing , apparently some other cars got egged the same night.
so we have some chickens with too many eggs running around the village who have a thing against cars.

It was a classic mystery of our times. The nickname from Terry stuck, most people in that area still refer to it as "the lighthouse" when it is of course no such thing.

The "Northampton Lighthouse" is actually a listed building and, at the time of it's listing, was reportedly the youngest ever listed building.

We did have a full can of Guinness thrown at my old house once by our "friendly" neighbours. An empty can would have made sense considering all the other rubbish that got thrown but a full can I never understood.
