As he was, presumably, an East Anglian sort of person, keeping most of his collection as close as possible to the region might be appropriate. For example, the Cambridge Museum of Technology might be interested.

I was summoned this afternoon by a delightful lady of the parish, to go through her late husband's shed to see if there was anything in there worth keeping. She had a skip in mind.

Why did she want to keep a skip?

I think the skip was in her mind, not in the shed. Me, I reckon once you've seen one skip you've seen 'em all.

Anyway, there's been some interest in the stuff, so we'll see.
