Period Bathroom Floor

Bathroom is now complete! Not a floral suite in sight. We wimped out and decided to go for the grey travertine floor in the end. Unfortunately, when we went to the shop to place the order, they didn't have enough of the matching wall tiles left in stock and they were being discontinued.
In a moment unusual decisiveness for us, we went for the patterned floor and with hindsight, we are so glad we did. Finished bathroom I think is an improvement on before even if the tiling may prove controversial!

Well, personally, I would have fixed the flushing handle on more of an upward angle - about 2 o'clock - to avoid barking knuckles on the cistern when flushing.

Not that I'm a nit-picker you understand.... :wink:

Seriously though but, it's a delightful bathroom, very well done! The floor lends just enough interest to balance the simplicity of the walls, while not demanding attention.

Topps Tiles - "Henley Cool". They do the same design in a Terracotta colour too!
